Complete Guide to Peptide Reconstitution
Master Peptide Reconstitution
Mixing your lyophilized (powder) peptides is the first step in your research. Here is how to do it safely.
What You Need
- Peptide Vial: (e.g., 5mg BPC-157)
- Bacteriostatic Water: Sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol.
- Alcohol Wipes: For sterilization.
- Syringe: Typical insulin syringe (1ml or 0.5ml).
Step-by-Step
- Pop the Caps: Remove the colored plastic top from the peptide vial and the water vial.
- Swab: Wipe both rubber stoppers with alcohol.
- Draw Water: Draw your desired amount of bac water (e.g., 2ml).
- Inject: Slowly inject the water into the peptide vial. Aim for the glass wall, not the powder directly, to avoid damaging fragile peptides.
- Dissolve: Gently swirl (do NOT shake) until clear.
